An Interactive Map of the Hamilton LRT Project
Here are a few examples of what the final result of Hamilton’s LRT project could possibly look like on the streets of Hamilton. (Pictures are from this CBC article)
An overview of what the system will look like throughout the city:
The above picture displays how a busy stop may look like
King Street West At Dundurn (West Stop Near Fortinos)
How a stop may look at James Street, right next to Gore Park.
This is what the system would look like passing International Village, and it would mean that vehicles would not be able to use the road between St. Catherine Street and Wellington Street.
Finally, the line passing King Street and Main Street, the line would then be on King Street East after departing from Queenston Road.
